If you keep a car long enough, you will find that there are certain problem areas in every model. (i.e. suspension clunks, fuel pump failures, paint etc.)

QUESTION: What problem(s) have you encountered with your Infiniti G35?
Please include year and body style (Sedan or Coupe).

04 G35 Sedan. Also brakes were an issue, until a non-dealer mechanic put me on Metal Pads, that were the same as he used on his MBZ and BMW clients. Now, no more brake dust, and the pads last forever.

Another prevelent problem to watch out for with the 3.5 engine. It seems over time to develope an oil leak from the vavle cover into the spark plug tube. The solution is replace both valve covers and gaskets which only runs anywhere from 800 to 1300 dollars. It's a manufactures defect that I had to pay for Nissan doesn't want to hear about it. Last Infinity for me.

Infiniti G35 2 door coupe (2004). The only issues that I have found is changing the breaks out on the car. It's more frequent I think than with my Prius.
